We had been using the black 3M tape to put some items around our rental house (like cameras and motion sensors, to avoid using screws). Sometimes those items fell off and we bought more 3M to put them back. We even tried heating the 3M as suggested, but same kept happening. One day the 3M increased the price so we bought this one. Great choice! It sticks better! So far none of the cameras or sensors had fallen again.It is easy to remove from wood, as we had to switch a camera angle, and there were no issues. But we couldn’t remove it from a plastic frame. So you may want to test the surface you need as it is really supper sticky!I was looking for a good carpet tape and the local stores all have retail-brand versions that are definitely without the proper amount of holding ability. Taking a chance on something that looked like it would work out turned out to be a great find for my family which is making us find new uses and purposes for the double sided tape.The bathroom rugs no longer slide around under our feet and rugs that used to go for mid-night walks around the house have found themselves stationery throughout the night. The next time I find a need for double sided tape that is incredibly strong and sticky, this is where I'll buy it.... finding a couple more uses, I have affixed a product to the bottom of a work monitor frame and have challenged co-workers to remove it (double sided tape 3, co-workers zero).I taped the remote control down on a coffee table, totally funny and entertaining UNLESS the spouse is grabbing for the remote with freshly-manicured finger nails ("sorry honey").I taped the clapper (ringy-hanging down part) of a bell and the next time a ringing for attention was attempted the yelling about incorrect tape usage was louder than the bell.Taping a car door closed only partially works, probably would need more tape to make it stay shut, which is good entertainment if your teenage kid is giving you regular attitude and trying to get into the car.Overall, I highly recommend buying this tape - both for its usability and function as well as entertainment capabilities.We bought this tape to hold down the corners of a 5 ft x 7 ft machine washable rug that we recently purchased. Love the rug but since it's so thin the corners tend to lift easily when you walk across it. It was also a problem for our robot vac. I put a small 1-1/2" piece of this tape at each corner of the rug and pressed down firmly so that it would stick to our tile floor. We've had it in place for over two weeks now and it hasn't budged an inch! Amazing product.I used this not only to hold my make up brushes. It put a strip in the window as a little fly catcher!This seems like advertised on some surfaces but it just fell off what I bought it to use on. Still looking for something that will stick to the lightly texture of a cars plastic interiorIt was great for exactly what I needed it. Stuck nicely, was able to cut to size, and also wide enough for me to only need one piece. Now finally my bobble head will stay in its place on my dashboard. Thanks you all!Added a playing card for size comparison. Haven't had any issues with it. I keep the the plastic bag it's comes in to cover it when I'm not using it so dust doesn't stick to the sides.Great product. Super adhesive and thick. I like that it's easy to peel and sticks great to wood and the surface under our kitchen granite table.
